There are 4 lights

I like all of the Star Treks, even the first few of Enterprise. Alisha and I were going to go to a Star Trek convention to meet Chikotae (sp?) but that didn't end up working out. I LOVE Voyager. The Next Generation is great too, Seven of Nine is one of my favorite characters.

I also think Picard is hot, not because he is bald though, I think it may be his commanding but fair and compassionate personality in the show. I liked that he was confident in himself. One of my favorite lines is when that woman in one of the movies said "I wonder if you are aware of the trust you engender, Jean Luc."

My husband thinks I'm a little wierd because of my Trek knowledge. Ah well, we can't all be enlightened.

My supervisor, a licensed clinical social worker, told me about a client he had that one day in his mid 20's woke up as a Borg. He was serving in the Air Force in Britain and heard the borg mother calling him to Eugene (his home town), so he drove his truck into the British Channel. He felt perfectly safe because he had deposited nano probes into the dashboard and since he was cibernetic he would be fine. Apparently in his reality, Eugene and south was Borg territory, north of Eugene was human. He told my supervisor that he would be assimilated. I guess if you have the genes to go crazy, a Borg reality would be the one to cling to... they are kinda unstoppable... unless you are Locutus.

  2. Wow!! What a story! I'm guessing he got to go home to Eugene anyways?

  3. Yes, he got arrested by MP's and discharged 3 months later. He was sent to Portland, where my boss worked with him. He kept trying to get to Eugene to work in an autobody shop there with a friend, but was kept in a locked facility for the safety of himself & others. The courtroom story is pretty interesting too, since my boss was called as a witness. I find schizophrenics/other mental health people "Fastinating." To steal a Spock term.
